What is a registered notice? ?

I got a phone call today, and it was a recording.

it said, "this is information on a business matter., go to www.registerednoice.com and enter your number"

It seems like it could be a spam, or a scam... has anyone ever received a call like this, any idea what its for?

I checked this at Snopes.com and didn't come up with anything. When I get regular mail like that I set it aside and wait for them to tell me more. If they want something from you and it is legit, they won't be doing it with no real return address or phone number. The only thing I can think of that it might be is a collection agency. Make them come to you with more information.  

ps..you are right to be leery of it. It's not SPAM but it could be PHISHING where a crook tries to get personal information from you for indentity theft.
