What is a reliable/safe website to download various devices for a computer?

I cannot put my computer in "Standby" mode. I get an error message saying the driver for "ATI Technologies, Inc. RAGE XL AGP 2X" may be preventing me from doing this -- and I may need a new driver. I want to make sure I download this from a safe website.

You can go to the ATI website.  

Or you can go to Device Manager  on your computer, find the device your want to upgrade the driver for and click on Update Driver.  You have to be connected to the internet at the time, but your computer will search for any updated drivers and install them.  Pretty easy.
