What is a residential school for the Deaf?

  1. It is a school for children who are hard-of-hearing or deaf, and the children live there.  Parents can visit and the children go home for mini-breaks and holidays, or even on most weekends.  How often the child goes home depends on the school's rules and how close the parents live.  In my state there are two such residential schools, and they also serve students with vision impairments.
