North Dallas seems to be pretty safe or the suburbs.

its all young families and very low crime rate

also has plenty of restraunts and things to do

Plano is very nice. So is Murphy and Richardson. Stay away from most parts of Garland and South Dallas.

Dallas actually has the highest crime rate in the country. It's even higher then *gasp* New York City.
