What is a safe way to clean my mac laptop screen?

It is yucky from my 17m old getting to it about 10 seconds before I did. I don't want to damage it! Thanks so much Answer People! :)

Go out and buy some wipes for LCD screens. Using household cloths and cleaners can damage the coating so I recommend getting wipes made for the job.

I use wipes particularly manufactured for laptop screens.  3M makes a good one that is sold in little individual pouches so they are portable - you don't have to take them all.  I bought some notebook wipes in a canister at Target a little bit ago.

Basically, just go into any Staples / Target / Office Depot and go to the computer supplies.  They should have the 3M ones along with some other ones stocked.

I like the 3M ones best, by the way, and suggest them.  They worked well on both my MacBook Pro and my Sony.
