What is a say now number?

At first I thought this was a stupid/unedited question, to be honest. I didn't think this question made any sense at all and I was fully prepared to tell you that... until Google. Now I know better and I'm sorry for ever thinking that.

I don't have a clear cut answer for you, I couldn't find one. From what I was able to gather, however, it seems like it's a fan-line for (mostly) musical artists. Similar to sending in fan-mail, a fan calls a phone number and hears messages left by their favorite artists (i.e. Chris Brown, The Jonas Brothers, etc.). In turn, the fans can leave messages of their choosing and get called back (if lucky) by their fav artists.
