  1. In the airline industry, You have the Senior officer (the captain) and the first officer (the Co-pilot).

  2. It's a distinction that I as a pilot acquired only when when I reached the age that allows me to order off the senior menu at Dennys. You'll have to read the menu to know what that age is. I ain't tellin.

  3. look for gray hairs in the cockpit the next time you fly

  4. There is no specific age or experience level at which one begins to be referred to as a "senior pilot."  Especially if you are a girl.  I flew until I was over 60 and nobody every said it about me that I know of.

Nice, polite bunch of guys.  But it is more likely to be said of a male pilot.  In general, it's the older group, maybe 55 and older.  Same as you have to be to get a free cup of coffee at McDonald's.

    So it's sort of vague.

  5. The senior pilot is the guy who comes home after a trip and has to find his bifocals to read the AARP ads as he's sifting through the 4 days worth of mail that's been waiting for him.

  6. The name for pilots in Spain?
