  1. I belive you mean SIG alert

    this means there been some type of incident on a  local

    freeway which the CHP and/or Cal trans estimated that it

    will take over a 1/2 hour to handle that incident

    so they issue a sig alert so people starting out wont get stuck in stopped traffic
