an overpriced computerized practice mute that comes with headphones.

the major flaws with the system are that it creates some backpressure & impedes proper tone production and air flow. i do not reccomend practice mutes of any kind unless you are a desperate apartment dweller with irrational neighbors.

Yamaha's practice mute system for brass instruments. I own one of their older models with a trumpet pick-up mute and it works great. I wouldn't recommend it for regular practice, though.
