I own a detailed book of the muscular and skeletal systems, but staring at the pictures all day really doesn't help in memorizing them. Any advice? wesbsites, etc.

  1. get creative and buy an anatomy colouring book

    Such as:

  2. Learn one system at a time, that way you break it up into smaller pieces versus learning it all at once.  Repetition, repetition, repetition.

Thats what I was doing in my Anatomy class.

  3. I can't think of any easy way to learn them all. Dissection was the tool I learned from the most. Books just can't give the  proper perspective. New 3D animations help. It is just easiest for me to store images from dissections or live operations.

For a fee (of course) the NIH has a wonderful set of 3D human images.

    Start here:

  4. I learned alot through drawing the human body in an anatomical drawing class, maybe if you get a figure drawing book and try to draw the parts, you will memorize them
