  1. I would recomend a beta they are cheap about 3 dollars and there cage is about 15 and the food  is about 2.50

  2. A cat, and they are loving animals

  3. Hermit Crabs are very low maintence and are fairly cheap also. They run right around $10 each and the cage that we have was around $20. The food and the bedding (we have a reptile bedding for our cage, it is what the pet store said to use instead of sand or pebbles.) are also fairly cheap and it lasts awhile with them too. We have two of them, and we only have to change the bedding once a week or sometimes even just everyother week. They also don't eat a lot, we feed these two once a week and the food lasts for the entire week. You just have to make sure to keep the bedding wet for them and have extra shells to keep in the cage.

  4. For every animal you will have to buy a very expensive tank or aquarium. Unless you get a single fish in a bowl. There is no inexpensive pet. :-\ Sorry.

  5. beta is an excellent answer - probably the easiest pet I ever had, and you can store them in virtually any container

also, my cousin recently bought a hermit crab - they are $5-10, plus a container, a bit of sand and some food. Very easy, and shockingly entertaining (especially compared to fish...)

Something that you should not get (though it is extremely low-maintenance) is a turtle. Yea, they're easy... but they also live for decades. Don't fall for it. :)

Also, rodents (gerbils, hamsters, etc.) are much more difficult than they seem - they may be small, but those guys take soo much attention.

  6. a turtle

  7. a rat

They are affectionate, ease to care for, if gotten young they make great pets. They eat all sorts of food, and you can offer them healthy people food- grains, vegitables and such... you can house them fairly inexpensively and they are very sweet when used to being handled.

  8. a gold fish all you really need is a bowl

  9. How about a pet rock. They used to be popular. Good Luck!!!

    Have a great day!!!

  10. You could try getting a cactus, and then naming it...

  11. Hamsters are cool. The cage set up does cost a bit though, but once you have all that , the food lasts forever.

  12. A Royal/Ball Python

  13. i had pet frogs (max 4) at one point in my life. they aren't too expensive. the only bad part is changing the water. sometimes the frogs mate and there are eggs floating around that just look like piece of c**p, so you throw them away along with the dirty water unknowingly.

and make sure the frogs are small. i think mine were called African (something) frogs or maybe just African frogs. but they were really small so they couldnt hop around too much. make sure the bowl is in a ball shape so they can't hop over the bowl ^^
