'Smeg' is not a thing, it's a substance; it's short for 'smegma' - which is gunk that collects under the f******n of the p***s if you don't clean regularly.

It is no way linked to smegma... yes they look similar, but smeg in fact was made up by the writers of 'Red Dwarf' to replace swear words as to avoid the 'watershed debate of curse words etc', you can use ur imagination to figure out what the writers where really wanting to put when they used phrases such as "you smeghead" or "what the smegging h**l" or "smeg you" or "smeg off" etc Anyone suggesting that this is related to the word 'smegma' is purely dirty minded and has not listened to the writers explanation of the word smeg... thank you

It's just the "catch-all" dirty word used by the Jupiter Mining Corp. Vessel "Red Dwarf" crew. (it has no real meaning,but sounds bad) Hope it helped,Mark
