What is a speaker in a story, and what is an example of one? Any links that could help would be appreciated.

  1. Hmm, i usually think of the speaker as the "narrator" of a story.   I guess an example would be the cowboy guy in the movie "The Big Lebowski."


  2. speaker is the one telling the story, in the book, it's whose POV the book is written in, in real life it's someone that reads it out loud, like the speaker at a convention is the one that is reading whatever in front of everyone.
