  1. A relay where the runners run...

    1st person:100m

    2nd: 100m

    3rd: 200m

    4th: 400m

I think it can change for the distances, but that is what i am running on tuesday for my meet...

  2. The sprint medley relay usually consists of four legs run at distances of 400, 200, 200, and 800 meters, though a more uncommon variant of 200, 100, 100 and 400 meters.

  3. Hahaha the sprint medley is awesome! A bit confusing since you all run different distances, but pretty neat. Someone runs a 200, 400, 400, and 800. That's the way it was for me in indoor track and outdoor track but it may be different elsewhere. Then there's a distance medley. Someone runs a 400, 800, 1600, and 1200, in that order I think? I'm pretty sure the order is correct for the sprint medley though. But you mostly only see this races at typical relay meets, not regular season meets if your in high school track and field. But it's defiently a great workout and neat how you all run different distances, you get more pumped up and less pressured since you and your teamates don't have to compete for spilt times. =] If you ever get the chance to run a medley relay, do it!

  4. i think its a relay were one person runs 100, another runs 200, another runs 300, and the other runs 400...
