What is a stereotype of a "Loner"?

I am doing a skit about different stereotypes at a camp that I am going to and my stereotype is the "Loner", shy, quiet girl. The skit is we have to pretend to be our stereotype and interact with the new campers and then at the end we reveal that everybody is not who they seem to be. I'm not really sure what to wear. It has to be realistic and suddel. A loner isn't goth or emo. Oh and the camp is in a week and its gonna be really hot since its summer so I probably wont wear sweatshirts or jeans. If you have any ideas or suggestions on what I should wear, how I should act anything I should bring please let me know. thanks :)

  1. A loner doesn't wear anything that stands out, just normal clothes that are neither fancy nor ragged.

A loner only speaks when spoken to, and pretty much wanders around by him/herself or stays put.

A loner is really shy, and is really normal, but not exiting in anyway.

Their eyes look really sad, and almost lifeless.

    That's all I can say.

  2. just wear something comfy, loners wear clothes for comfort not style

dont smile, if someone looks at you just stare back and wait for them to look away, if someone talks to you, speak in a monotone voice, be polite, but not friendly, loners arnt shy, they just dislike people

i think it best to act robotic, loners live inside their heads, so everything thing they, do is routine

  3. PURELY FOR INSIGHT, NOT BECAUSE I THINK I'M THE MODEL LONER TO ACT AS: I'm considered a loner, but because I enjoy it. And while I do enjoy some social interaction, any relationship that becomes too personal tends to make me really uncomfortable. And I usually wear plain, comfortable, logo free clothing because I don't want to advertise for anyone, UNLESS it subtly shows what I like/ believe in in a cool way. Furthermore, I've met a number of people who rarely ever talk and hint they might be a little messed up in the head from the outside, but talk a lot, just like a normal person once a conversation begins. There's also a wierd, dull seeming girl I know who I've been told socially seems like a completely different person on Myspace. :/

Maybe having a tricked out cell phone could express that you're not such a loner on the web?

Thumbs up to the guy above :)
