As per India Meteorological department,if wind speed exceds 56mph,it is called severe cyclonic storm(or severe Cyclone).So,in Indian ocean,the storm having 74 mph will be a severe cyclonic storm and the storm with 74mph over Western  North Pacific ocean will be called as Typhoon.If the wind speed exceeds about 133mph,it will be called Super Typhoon.


  2. In the West Pacific, storms with that wind speed are called Typhoons. In the Indian Ocean, it's called a Tropical Cyclone.
