"Hate" is a very strong word. You can strongly dislike someone and not get sick to your stomach, whereas if you say you hate someone, you are truly condemning that person's soul. Physically, it takes more facial muscles to frown than it does to smile.  The Bible states you are to love your enemies.

Emotions can be the same strength, but love is so much better and healthy. People with lots of hatred never seem to be able to be truly happy.

Hate has caused thousands of years of wars and oppression. Usually for silly things like people not looking like you or practicing the same religion or occupying land you want.

If you hate someone, it can change under the right circumstances..you can come to like them over time, if you make yourself or if the reason for the hate dissapears.

LOVE. To hate is a simple emotion and takes no understanding, thought or intelligence to have. Hating something you do not understand it is easy but to Love something despite understanding it is much harder making it more involved. Therefore, LOVE stronger because it takes more to love then to hate.

And the same for love also!

But if you love someone truely, you will do ANYTHING! for them!

Easy question. LOVE. Why? Because I've never heard of anything in life being conquered by hate. It is proven that love can conquer anything, sometimes even things that seem impossible. For example, a child is kidnapped and her parents are out of their minds trying to find out the well being of their little girl. They do anything to get her back. Pay ransom, do whatever the kidnapper wants in order to have her back safely. Even at the cost of their own life. If she is returned safely, psychologically, they are never the same again. That little girl will be treated with far more appreciation and love for the rest of her life. Love doesn't take things for granted.

Even in gangs and people who do crime, there is love. When a member is lost, killed, murdered, etc. the other members feel despondent about losing a "brother". They may commit crime, but if they lose a brother, it's still love.

Fact: Did you know that the opposite of love is not hate? It is fear.
