What is a surfer guy? Ok I don't live near beaches so I am unclear on the definition.......?

Well, a surfer guy:

1. Surfs a lot

2. Talks about surfing a lot

3. watches surfing movies a lot

4. may not have a job

5. usually needs a haircut

6. gets up really really early to catch the morning breakers, then sleeps the rest of the day (til the evening rollers come in)

7. usually smells like wet neoprene.

8. has a tan

9. idolizes Kelly Slater

The easiest way to tell you is a surfer guy is some one who normally spends most there time at the beach and loves to go surfing when waves are up. most people might use the term he looks like a little surfer dude. and that person their describing might not even live at the beach or surf but it has to do with there appearance. surfer guys look a certain way. like normally bleach blond hair, either long and shaggy or really really short. has a really good tan. says words like (dude, gnarly, bro) a lot. will wear board shorts, a tee shirt and flip flops. most would be real chill and lade back too. just looks like they never really leave the beach. probably works some where on the beach and can take off if the waves are good.
