  1. Syskey is a utility intended to prevent offline password cracking attacks against the Security Account Manager (SAM) database in Windows NT systems.

  2. It is a utility that further strengthens your windows security by encrypting your login password. You can run it by typing syskey in the 'run' box. Remember!!!, messing with it can result in your system not starting up.
