  1. Geckos.

Bearded dragons are very easy, and very loveable

  2. anoles,bearded dragons,skinks,uromastyx,an most type of the chameleon's too

  3. Why don't you try a newt?  It will need a watery environment or tank.

  4. Leopard gecko

  5. I would say a leopard gecko is a great starter lizard. they don't get big at all. Another lizard that would be great to have as a starter would be an anhole. They are not too small and they are great to have.

  6. Do NOT get a chameleon! They're hard! Leopard gecko, bearded dragon, water dragon, skink.

  7. You could see if any pet stores sell Skinks. They are pretty and stand out well with their colors. They are only twice as big than than the full grown common male lizards that you see outside everyday.

Skinks usually are a dark blue color with black - very beautiful. They might bite, but they shouldn't hurt too much, and after some time, they'll become tame unless you got it already tamed. They eat bugs - like ants, moths, flies, mosquitoes ect.

You can also catch them outside if your lucky. They can be hard to find in some places like mine, and can hide fairly well.

But you mostly see then as the tan and brownish colors as well.

    Hope this helps :)

  8. I would say a bearded dragon or crested geckos.

I would not recommend leopard geckos since I think they are pretty boring and out of the 3 that I have had over the past few years all of them have developed some kind of natural health problem (not my fault at all) that has cost me a lot of money and lots of trips to the vets.

Bearded dragons get up to two feet long but a lot of that is their tail. They require hot temperatures so you need to get a heat lamp.

Crested geckos stay under 6 inches and are very cool.

No matter what you choose make sure to do you do research before hand and get a good book on what ever lizard you choose.

Avoid purchasing them at large chain pet stores (pet co, pet land, pet smart, etc.) since they don't take proper care of their live animals and often sell you unhealthy lizards. Look in the yellow pages for an exotic pet store or look online for an online breeder.

  9. Try leopard geckos they are really great. Mine are real tame.
