  1. Terrestrial just means "of or relating to the earth." Like one of the earth's resources.

  2. Try looking up "terrestrial".

Ever wonder what the word "E.T." comes from? Extraterrestrial? It means "outside earth".

Terrain is another word for land. Terrestrial basically means "earth".

What is a resource? Coal. Oil. Minerals. Food. Water. Do you see why "soil erosion" couldn't possibly be a resource?

  3. Terrestrial means of the earth (land). Mining is an example of a resource from the earth.
