  2. It's the kind of deck that has a constant common in all of the card's effect. For example, a Mill Deck has a theme of discarding opponent's cards (either from hand or deck) to the graveyard, usually causing a deck out or simply ruining the opponent's hand card. Sometimes this would also refer to the family of monsters a duelist run (Monarches, LV Monsters, Six Samurais, Gladiator Beasts); these monsters usually shares a common attribute, effect, and of course (most obviously) their name.

    While this would mean that a player's deck is exponentially strengthened (because the desired effect, or strategy of the user are present in almost all of the cards in his deck) as compared to a deck without any sort of theme (which I call a "blind" deck), it also means that it will have another themed deck weakness; something like a natural enemy deck.

    For example, an Exodia Deck's bad opponent would be a Discard Deck or Remove From Play Decks;

    = Since, Exodia relies on getting the 5 pieces on their hands, getting the pieces end up somewhere like the graveyard or RFP (probably due to Needle Worm's or Card Destruction's or other cards similar to these effects), will certainly put Exodias to a great disadvantage against these types of deck.

    But of course, in the hands of a skilled duelist, these weakness factors can be overcome, although it would take a lot of experience and practice to do so. Difficult, yes, but not impossible.

  3. Dragons, Dark World, Beat Down, OTK

    Spellcasters, Warriors, Burn, Final Countdown, Rock, Insects, Mozalemum, Water, Exodia, The World, Fairies, E- Heroes, D- Heroes, Samurais, Cybers, Machine.
