In a Galaxy ,far ,far, away,a whole planet was fooled to 'believe' that global warming was real. It took a conspiracy of immense proportions! Every major scientist was in on the 'fraud'. They even 'paid' a washed up politician to hawk the 'scam' on the inhabitants! All it took was a bunch of postings on YA to expose the 'fraud'! With every snarky insult,and opinions that totally disregard science or logic,they finally reveled the 'plot' to raise taxes,and 'force' us to by 'deadly' light bulbs!  Why,did you hear this one? Supposedly, the 'greenhouse gas' effect 'works' like this. "If you put pure CO2 in a jar,then put it in the Sunlight,it'll get red hot!"  That's just their opinion though!  And we all know that majority rules when it comes to opinions! So there's your 'proof'! If more people disagree with the 'scientists',then the scientists must be 'scamming' us!

I really don't think there is a debate about whether global warming is occurring, it is.  I think the debate is whether or not it is caused by humans, and I see no proof whatsoever that it is caused by us.

That is not a thesis statement, just my two cents.

Actually, there is some evidence that it is happening -- but a lot less evidence that mankind has anything to do with it.  Try a Google search; you will probably turn up thousands of documents.  Somewhere, you will find an idea on which you can elaborate.

First of all you need proof which states that global warming is not happening.

Next, you need a very strong opening line that will attract the readers attention.  Within that paragraph you can say something like... It has been stated by (name your source) that the world is not in threat of global warming but in fact is evolving normally.

I think it should start, "Once upon a time".

It's a fairy tale that it's not happening.  Some people want that so badly that they think saying it isn't real will stop it.  Denial is very much the right word.
