depends in college it best 3 out of 5 in anything lower than that its best 2 out of 3 but if you go into a third game you go to 15 tou still have to win by two and you switch sides at 8

Volleyball matches are typically best of 5 games, meaning you need to win 3.  If each team wins 2, the 5 game is the tie breaker.   Depending on the level/rules being used, sometimes the 5th game uses different scoring - usually to make the game take less time.
