What is a tonne of cardboard worth ?

We dispose of a huge amount of cardboard in work and also in the last place I worked.....I was wondering how much it's worth and if it was worthwhile me packing in my job to start a recycling business collecting it all

    Put an advert in the local paper advertising Discount Boxes for removals.

    You'd be suprised.

  6. yess um all you need is the right feild to sell your cardboard and it looks like hobo land is in high demand. i'm pretty sure you could make a trade for a shoestring and a tree branch

  7. Practically nothing.

    Back in the 70's my brother recycled cardboard on quite a large scale. He even had a large bailing machine to compress it and make it more manageable. He then sold it direct to a paper mill to ensure the best price.

    However since we have all been encouraged to recycle, the supply has outstripped demand. In fact in Birmingham now we have to pay the " Cardboard men", to take it away.
