  2. triple threat is the position were your legs are square and you have 3 choices either to pass, slash or shoot.  You must be in your comfortable position or stance so that you can move freely or do your next move with ease.  After receiving the ball, adopt this position and be alert of what you will do next.

    Here are some tips:

    1. Standing with your legs spread, a shoulder width apart and your knees slightly bent will give you a solid base to catch the ball.

    Your weight should be pushed forward as you receive the ball.

    2. Keeping the ball up and in front of you with your elbows pointed out will help to protect it from the opposition.

    Stay alert and focus on where your team-mates are on the court as you decide your next move.

    You can see from the illustration, you are perfectly positioned to either shoot, dribble or pass.
