  3. this is the device which convert  tv (RF) signals to video signals to display on your screen. an lcd display monitor is the same as an lcd tv but without the tv tuner inside. so if you wan to watch tv programs on your computer monitor, get a tv tuner card in your computer, or get an external tv tuner and connect to your monitor via the composite video jack (if available).
