  1. I went to one and to me it was more like a publicity stunt and media appearance. The practice was very light, not very physical (I understand they don't want any player to get injured before the season starts).

  2. I don't know, never been in one!

  3. tons of steroids, and gallons of gatorade

  4. two practices a day, probably 4 hours each, very intense,

  5. There are two practices a day, usually 1 1/2 to 2 hours each.   There usually is a team breakfast followed by the morning practice. Then class work and lunch through the afternoon, then the afternoon practice, followed by more classroom work until 8 or 9 pm. Intensity is usually a reflection of the coach, but at the NFL level, they usually work very hard.

Practices usually consist of warm-ups, followed by individual positions drills, there are very few team-wide drills at this level. If there are any, they are conditioning drills only. Individual drills- well there are too many to list, but each position has drills specific to themselves.

After individual drills, depending on what the practice objective is the team will get together for group work. Group work could be offensive/ defensive play installation, 7-on7 passing  11-on-11 passing or full out scrimmage.
