  3. i'll assume you are just talking about eng comp. which most community college degrees want you to have two of. i personally thought the first eng, which for me was eng 111 was the worst. i can write a paper, but it was still an endurance issue for me. the first eng i took was an 8 wk class, and we wrote 5 papers. 4 pages long. for eng 112 the 2nd eng class, i took it in a 5 wk course and we wrote 2 papers, each 5 pages long and 3 short essays. As long as you can learn to use grammar and punctuation, you'll be fine. I always found the works cited page the worst.

  4. My writing class at the University of Utah was pretty much the same as a writing class I had taken in 10th or 11th grade. The only difference is that roll wasn't called in the college class and there wasn't a seating chart.
