  1. Visa classification change means the individual has changed status; this could be for any number of reasons. FOr example, it could be from TN to H1B (both of which are work visas, but have different requirements). Or it could be from F1 to H1B (from student to work visa). Etc.

    Visa date change affects either the starting date or ending date appearing on the paperwork. If it is the start date, this determines when the individual can enter the US; if it is the end date, it determines when they are required to leave the country (or renew their visa status, or change classification).


  2. They both refer to changes made to an officially issued visa, which would, in turn, relate to the holder's legal status while coming into, or staying in, the issuing country.
