  1. The ball of  Volley ball is made of leather or synthetic leather and inflated with compressed air. It is round and 65-67 cm in circumference


  2. Real balls used in competition are made of leather.  Practice balls are usually synthetic leather.  More recreational balls for picnics can be made of rubber with a fabric over them so they are softer for the "average" person to play with.  

    Balls for beach are more rigidly stiched together so the wind come more of a factor.  Indoor balls are more smooth with out the seams on the panels.
