What is a way I can still copy files from a scratched dvd that I cant copy?

Im trying to copy one of my dvd movies that is damaged.I cant seem to copy it due to scratch damage.Is there a way I can copy the files and transform it to an iso from scratch?

  1. use tooth paste over the scrach wait till it is dry the rub it will a soft rack or buy a cd scratch tool for about 10 usd
