What is a web enhanced class?

It's a class in which some of the learning is done via the internet.  The teacher decides to what extent the internet activities would be valuable for the students.  The teacher then makes decisions regarding which internet activities would be used, and what framework would best address students' issues such as student learning styles & course interface design.  Once the teacher has made these decisions, the teacher can start to create an internet entry point for the course.  The entry point is referred to as the Course Homepage.

There are 4 components:

1. Administrative Component

2. Assesment Component

3. Content Delivery

4. Community Component

If you are a teacher, these are my suggestions on how to accomplish a web-enhanced classroom:

Have the students make a webquest or a Power Point Presentation on any given topic.

From my own teaching experience, I have found that it is easier & more efficient to grade group projects using a rubric. The kids love it because they know in advance what they will be graded on. I found this great link years ago. You can make rubrics free..
