  1. cherimoya I tried it once and it was so good I  ate them for a month I think there out of season.

  2. My mother used to put crunchy peanut butter on Ritz crackers, top them with marsh mellows and bake them until the marsh mellows were melted.

    They are surprisingly good.

  3. Roasted Horse, huh!

  4. Lychees ~ very unusual flavour.

Emu steak (yes real emu meat)

  5. Raw ramen noodles. The hard ones from the bag, not fresh ones.

  6. 1.caviar, yea sounded horrible but actually tasted splendid

  7. Black rice with glass noodles and watercress....swamp soup. DELISH. Made with a  chicken stock cube and a dash of sesame oil.

  8. I always gross people out with this but it was a food I grew up with. My heritage is Polish and my mom learned from her mother how to make a really good beef broth.  One of the ingredients was soup bones - not the little round circles but the longer bones.

After the soup was done she'd pull out the bones and shake the marrow out onto a piece of bread, salt it and give it to us to eat.

I know, it's completely gross but it was really good.

  9. Roast reindeer pizza. (in Finland)

    Chicken-banana-curry pizza.  (in N Sweden)

Pindasaus (Dutch-Indonesian peanut sauce served often with rice and chicken or beef.) (in the Netherlands)

Reindeer served many ways. (in Sweden and Finland)

Lingonberry sauce served with beef meatballs. (in Sweden)

    Rose-flavored candy. (in England)

I liked all of these very well, once I got used to them.

  10. I am of Mexican heritage and my mom always fed us Menudo (don't confuse with the band), which is a soup made of tripe, hominy, and and red chili. I never knew what the strange meat in the soup was, until one day I asked my mom. She told me that tripe is the stomach lining of a cow!!! I didn't eat it again for at least a decade. Once I got older I tried it again, and now I like it, but only if my mom cooks it. If it's not made correctly, it is AWFUL!

  14. My son likes to eat Oreos on his sausage and biscuit sandwiches.
