  1. Work study is an educational plan in which students alternate between paid employment and formal study.

In addition, work study can count as credits earned dependent upon the schools policy with respect to the work study program.

This is a very good opportunity to take advantage of and you should pursue the opportunity if it has been offered to you.  Also, it gives you a jump start on gaining work experience which will be to your advantage when seeking employment opportunities in the future.

    Best wishes.

  2. it means you take a job where the company only pays half of your wages while the school pays the other half.  Ususally the financial aid office can help you find a work study job.  You could probably find something close to your major.

  3. Basically, yeah. Work study is your own space to work in for homework, study, and so on.

Depending on family income, yes and no. You could or could not apply for a fafsa.
