  1. If your talking about potential sponsors, it is likely due to the bad economy. In a normal year, Travis Kvapil would probably have been sponsored the first race he cracked the top 25 in points, but this year he's struggling to get a sponsor despite holding his own among the best. The economy stinks right now, and I think everyone is feeling it.

  2. Good question.  Nascar is a dang joke compared to the way it was ten to twenty years ago.  In those days, talent was all that mattered.  Nowadays, NASCAR is pushing team owners to sign pretty boys with marketable looks and personalities to push the product.  Plus, team owners are feeling the pressure from sponsors to put drivers in that will look good in their commercials and push their products.  The racing is really suffering from this, too.

  3. Paying attention to what?  Sorry I wasn't paying attention to your question.

  4. His name is Brian France.

  5. Huh???

    What???

Can you re-phrase the question to a language that can be understood?

    Thanks.

  6. Eh.....pay attention to what. I'm a fifty year fan-until the lame COT (Checker Cab with a wing), lucky dog, censoring drivers, forcing season ticket holders to buy support race tickets, top 35 in points are qualified to race-France has ruined it.

They lost me a couple years ago.

  7. seeing the same people up front every week and seeing the leader leave the pack behind till there is a caution.
