Slang is a trend, the same as when people say ''omg'' or ''like'' or have this odd way of talking...you know what I mean. But am tired of the term alot, like white is good and black is bad..why?

I grew up being called the black Barbie, white girl, or a girl stuck in a black body and some other messed up terms. To me all of them were brainwashed. Because the whites I see here .....lets just say I live in the South and didn't pick up such a gross deep Southern accent.........not what your thinking like the soft sweet Southern bell but wild and...eww sorry, but some whites have that.

Also girls gone wild is white.

Flashing off your b*****s is a white thing

Being caught online nude seems like a hite thing

Wearing that horrible dixie flag is a white thing

To me what am saying this acting white term needs to quit because Inever done the above. I want to be known as a human and nothing else.

  1. Yea. i get that too. I called downstairs at my job to the mail room. The lady who picked up the phone was the person i needed to speak to. But when i asked for her, she told me she was unavailable. Once i told her my name, she started laughing, said i "sounded" white, and why was i talking like that. I don't get it. Because im black. Should i use the terms all black young females use?

Good luck on figuring it out miss...

  2. society makes it all up.

  3. I use to get on other blacks about talking "white" too.  It's because we grow up learning that if you talk proper and educated, you talk "white".  So basically to conform some of us strive not to talk that way, but a lot of times we don't know it proper.  But what it take to be "Cool" is different in every culture and setting.  A lot of things people do to be "cool" or "down" often are dumb, like smoking and drug and alcohol abuse.  But as I mature I find it is pretty dumb, so I try to overlook the so called talking and acting "white" thing.

  4. Yes, your peers have been brainwashed by stereotypes and the media. I'm going to assume you're in school and say that you shouldn't let it get under your skin. You have a huge edge on your peers who shout obscenities and act like garbage. You'll realize it more and more as you grow up.

As you pointed out, whites haven't exactly monopolized the market on manners. No race has, nor ever shall. When you start judging people by a skin pigment, your respectability really plummets.
