  1. Here are some links to american ballet theaters ballet dictionary, it tells you how to do it and it gives a video of someone demonstrating it..i think its easier to learn something if you can watch it

    assemble

    http://www.abt.org/education/dictionary/...

    jete

tour jete in the dictionary its called jete entrelace

♥ hope this helps ♥  idk if its just my computer but when you click on the link the link for the video doesnt appear (you click on the quick time symbol) so all you have to do it click on another ballet term and then back on the term you want..and you will see the quick time symbol

  2. OK, those are all jumps that you do in ballet.

Tourjete: this is going to be hard to explain but, what you do is you battement one leg to the front, say the right, then you turn your body half way around to face the other wall/corner, which makes your right leg go derriere, you then switch legs and bring the left to the back, land in plie on the right leg.

Assemble: literally means to "assemble," you brush your right, you can do either but I am doing the right side, to the side, then you jump off of your left leg and bring your legs together to a fifth position in the air, land in fifth, right leg front.

Jete: for this jump you brush your (right) leg to the front, push off of your left leg and make a split in the air, land on your right leg with back leg derriere.

  3. This is a great place to look them up...it will show you a vid!

    Hope this helped!
