Well, if you're talking about buying prints, it generally is opposed to a package deal. So if you had a photo sitting, and you could either buy a package (with say 2 8x10, 4 5x7, 10 3x5) or you could get it a-la-carte, buying how ever many of each size you wanted at a specific price per print. Usually the packages are cheaper per-print but if you want extras of a particular size you can get them on an individual basis.
