  1. I think that they picked a cute little girl to lip sync to another girl who wasn't as cute but had a great voice. They did a Milli Vanilli!

  2. b/c the girl who wasnt on tv was not pretty enough. the chinesse gov said she was not cute enough o be on tv. i saw her face and she looked kind of round in the face meaning not skinny

  3. Because the real person singing was told she was not attractive enough to be on international television which is wrong

  4. I'm upset about this. Peiyi is not ugly. She has big eyes and puffy cheeks. She deserve the big stage not some girl who can't sing that is good -looking.

  5. That's not the main reason as to why people are upset. It's the fact that A. that wasn't even that girls voice, and B. the girl who sang, they said wasn't pretty enough because she had buck teeth, so they used a really cute girl (even though both are cute) to lip sync.

  6. no fuss about lip syncing but for china to use this girl because the other girl was ugly , fat faced and had bad teeth what loosers......

  7. The fuss is not about the lip syncing. The fuss is about China deciding the girl who sang the song was not "cute" enough to be seen on TV and instead decided to use a "cuter" girl who would lip sync the original girls singing.

  8. define "fuss"...

  9. Chinese rejected the little girl with crooked teeth

  10. Lip syncing is nothing new. And it was obvious she was lip syncing if you knew what to look for. It was also reasonably apparent that the voice didn't match the performer.

Letting someone sing live, especially a child, in such a big event is taking a huge risk.

  11. Whats the fuss?

The Chinese rejected the little 7 year old girl just because she had crooked teeth! They said her appearance was inappropriate and that is why they replaced her with a 9 year old girl. This is so sad because the 7 year old girl had won a contest to sing during the Olympics and they just took her chance away!! So they decided to not use her but they did use her voice, which is so messed up. So yes it is a big thing..its not the fact that the 9 year old girl was lip syncing but more of the story behind it.

It was really stupid though because the little 7 year old girl is a cute kid so its really stupid how they said her image wasn't "flawless" enough.

  12. It is a major part of the Opening Ceremony being fake.  Also, the lip syncing was by for the worst part of the faking.  The state emotionally destroyed the young lady who had worked long and hard to be chosen to sing the song.  Her voice was heard singing Hymn To The Home Land, but she was not allowed to be seen because some member of the government said her teeth were not straight enough.  A young lady judged to be prettier lip synced the song.  Imagine how that makes the singer feel.

  13. its an insult to the little girl and to the way they diminish looks! if they didnt like her they should have chosen another girl but to use her voice but not her that is offensive.

  14. all the fuss isn't about the little girl lip syncing, its about telling the girl who has that amazing  voice that she wasn't "cute" enough to sing it live at the olympics...

  15. exactly,

but being the world best sore losers, the U.S. media just can't help by digging in tru journalism of the lowest shiits level.
