  1. Check the website of the airline you are using...almost all of the airlines have a list posted/printable on their site. Some are a bit different...


  2. in your checked luggage, the only types of things you cannot have (undeclared) are weapons (guns, knives, etc) or produce (fruit, plants, etc) since you are going out of the country.

    in your carry-on luggage, you are (also) not allowed more than a 1oz container of anything liquid (including lighters), though things like water bottles that are bought AFTER you pass through security are okay.

  3. It is best to check with the airline, because they all make their own rules. What one allows, the other doesn't.  Some things that none will allow are certain amounts of liquids, knives and anything similarly dangerous.  But, again, call your airline, or go to the computer for a list of things. And then obey it, because they don't make exceptions.

  4. If you want to be absolutely sure you are getting the most up to date infomation, go to www.tsa.gov.  You will find all you need to know.
