Question:

What is allowed on planes?

I'm going on a trip for about a week and I'm bringing a carry-on. I've checked it up on a bunch of sites but they all say different things about like liquids and stuff. One site says yes to liquids as long as its less than 3 ounces and in a baggy or something but another says no to liquids.

The main thing is that I want to bring makeup in my carry-on, i don't know if that is restricted or not... only one is liquid and I'm pretty sure it's less than 3 ounces, it's just liquid foundation....oh and mascara. The rest is just normal makeup stuff. Is that allowed??

Thank you for your help! :)

  1. If you want an answer from the true authority, go to www.tsa.gov and click on "for travelers".  They are the ones who set the rules for what you can and can't bring on the airplane, so their information is correct and up-to-date.

  2. I've traveled a lot and believe me they don't care if you bring make up on the plane in your carry on. I've traveled with two kids and bottles full of formula and water bottles and juice ext...and never had a problem. They x-ray everything before you enter the main airport. What they are worried about is sharp objects or things you can make a bomb out of. As far as I know you can not make a bomb out of liquid fountation alone. Well unless your Magiver.
