  1. The AC cord, or AC Adapter, is the cord or cord with built-in DC voltage converter to power or (re)charge your device.

Analog video doesn't use pixels to create the video, it blends the colors together, so as you focus in, it gets blurry, but you don't see little rectangles. But it's longer and slower to process doing so.

Digital is a process where it breaks the picture down into tiny single-color rectangles next to each other, with a defined color, no infinite variation. Easier to do and quicker, but as you focus in on a digital image, you begin to see the little rectangles that make up the picture. No infinite variation in color to blend the whole together, once you start zooming in.

    Simple, really.

  2. The AC cord is the cord that plugs into an outlet to get electricity.

  3. An AC cord just plugs into your normal socket. AC stands for Alternating Current and is the electricity supplied for your whole house. The only other electricity is DC which stands for Direct Current, which is like, the electricity coming from a battery.

  4. The AC cord is the cord that plugs into an outlet to get electricity to the camcorder and in most instances also charges it for when you're using it away from home.
