Escort services normally provide companionship.  They are legal in most states unless there is any implied s*x involved.  If this is advertised and you pay for that service then you can be guilty of participating in prostitution.  I have known friends who get an escort only to go to a high school reunion, special event or in one interesting case, you could hire an escort to come and play piano and just talk.  None of these led to s*x but I am the first to admit most people who hire escorts have that as a goal.

It's a service where you pay for a DATE..(not a s*x act)...and then on that date you usually wind up having s*x because it's usually expected
