  1. An HHO generator is actually a real thing, and it does work... but don't be fooled.  This will not give you better gas mileage.  The only way you could increase your fuel economy by installing it is if it ran at greater than 100% efficiency.  Like Michael G said that violates the laws of thermodynamics.  Cars that actually run off of hydrogen like the new BMWs for example get their energy from compressed pure (well relatively pure) hydrogen made in a hydrogen plant that used electricity which came from burning fossil fuels.  So they had to put a lot of outside energy into making the hydrogen which is then separated from the oxygen (so save on shipping costs, and can be found abundantly in the air around us).  The technology behind the HHO generators is very real, its called electrolysis and it supplies the water with the electrons and energy needed to split it into its elemental constituents, H2 and O2.  It then sends them through a tube to your intake and when they go in your cylinder the spark from the spark plug ignites them and  they re-combine into H2O.  The problem arises when that explosion (yes H2 and O2 combining is VERY explosive unlike gasoline which burns) creates heat, i.e. wasted energy and the inherent <100% efficiency.  Hope that helps.

  2. I'm pretty sure it's something that's supposed to convert water into hydrogen. By the way, if you're looking at one of those ads to convert your car to hydrogen power, don't do it. It's a scam.

  3. Thats the generator that creates it's own energy using only water. I assume what it is meant to do is break the water down into it's chemical components (Hydrogen & Oxygen) and then recombine them somehow managing to break the first and/or second laws of thermodynamics.

It doesn't work It'll probably never work and people really can be scammed if they believe it will.
