What is an NHS Experience and a PCT?

I was looking around the Job seek for England and found that dentistry required people who has PCT and at least 1 year of NHS Experience. Can someone please tell me what they are? Thanks so much

  2. Priamary Care Trust! is PCT its the local authority that manages the NHS services...alomost like a managment body!

    here its "East Gloucestershire PCT"
