What is an OB/GYN exactly?

I've always been interested in being a doctor but I never knew what type of doctor. I don't know much about OB/GYN's, but I think I might be interested in it.

Please tell me everything you know about them, everything they do. Thanks a lot.

It's a woman's doctor. Obstetrician / Gynaecologist.

The Ob part is for pregnant woman/babies in utero.

Gyn is for womans health and reproductive organs etc.

Obstetrician/Gynecologist. They specialize in women's reproductive health and pregancies, including delivering the baby. There's a lot more to it, though. I suggest you read up on a medical site.
