I'm trying to hook the graphics card I put in my computer up to my tv. It came with a three adapters:

(a) regular computer monitor cable

(b) HDMI cable

(c) and this unidentified RCA-like one.

My tv is not HD and doesn't have an HDMI plug, so I think (c) is the one I'm looking for. Can I just use a normal RCA extension cord to connect it to my TV, or do I need an adapter?

  1. There is no difference in RCA plugs. A saying in my industry is, electricity doesnt care what color something is.

  2. you can use a standard av cable but the red blue green cable is a component and would be better, and yes their is a difference ! it has to do with the color range and how their split up, however if its not a hd tv your not gonna see the difference

  3. well i could be a component input

    with out the audio portion
