What is an acceptable range for an SAT score?

when I say acceptable, I mean what do colleges accept?

If you mean acceptable as in average, then 1500 is the average, but if you ask me, I would say that's not such a good grade. For one, you can get 600+ points on the SAT even if say you get everything wrong, so 1500 isn't exactly impressive.

That's subjective, what acceptable means to you might be totally different that what acceptable means to me.
