  3. Well, simply put, it's an engineer in the aerospace industry.

    An engineer is someone who carries through an enterprise or brings about a result especially by skillful or artful contrivance.

    Engineers are usually trained or skilled in the technicalities of some field (as sociology or insurance) not usually considered to fall within the scope of engineering and who is engaged in using such training or skill in the solution of technical problems.

  4. rocket science is too loose a term to use. i think rocket science is the science of the actual propulsion of spacecraft. like the rocket engines that go boom at lift off. aerospace is wide and may include "rocket science". it deals with designing, building, maintaining etc etc of flying objects, airplanes, space craft, satellites bla blah blah. i think it also touches those mars rovers and stuff like that.
